I am a dancer who values diversity and supporting others. Performance, learning, and collaboration are things that help support me in being the best artist I can be. I am a firm believer in dance being a powerful method of communication, a way to tell a story without having to use words. Dance isn’t just how high you can extend your leg or how many turns you can do in four seconds. It is how you impact the audience you are dancing for and what type of message is conveyed through your artistic expression. Impact and legacy are two important themes that have always been apparent in my life. Whatever space I walk into, I challenge myself to show up and be present in the best way that I can. Having the ability to move my body in ways that help me tell a story is something that over the years, I have learned to not take for granted.
